The Lettuce Dress

Went with the Riks to the Isabel Toledo exhibit at FIT on Wednesday.  I simply LOVED her clothes and I'm sure I can say the same for Riks.  We were both in awe of the exquisite designs, adopting origami and "Bjork" couture.  Just fantastic.  I particularly loved the Lettuce dress.  It's name says it all--reminiscent of iceberg lettuce with layers that just dance around the body and a cheerful coral color to match.  I imagined walking down the aisle in a "lettuce" dress.  smile.
