yada yadayadadadeeda

Am totally psyched about my new jobby job! I've been seeking a job that 'fits' me ever since I moved to NYC back in 2006.

In retrospect I do believe many hurdles had to be conquered first and foremost:
First, was my lazy ass attitude towards working. I wanted a job that paid big bucks without having to put in the big bucks effort. And I wanted to work something like 4 days a week and I wanted lots of free time. Basically I didn't want to work, only wanted to dance into oblivion.--Literally, kind of.
Second, Didn't know what big bucks effort was. Working at Infinity Wellness helped me understand the meaning of effort. Forever grateful I'll be.. :)
3rd, had to simply admit to the fact that I want a lot of things in life. Basically I want everything. If you have something I want, I want it more now: travel, nice home, nice clothes, nice shoes, nice hair, nice camera. I WANT IT ALL!! BWAHAHAHAH
4-learned about terms like 'security', 'stability', 'future' and 'planning'. and realized how they all had a special ring to them that I was drawn to. (As H said, " I think we're growing up Oli")
5- I said to myself one day while I was chanting: Yes, I'll do it! I'll work Full-Time! I'm ready for 40 hours a week! Let's do this.

So, after all those lessons learned whathaveyou--something opened up in/for me and A few weeks ago I was offered a full-time position as a Media Researcher at the PR company I've been free lancing with for the past 8 months! For the most part, I read lots of news [about War and Peace] and can work wherever I please, with my lovely mac (n cheese) ;) [Thank you Soka University of America -- ur student loan payments are in the mail!!]

Now, I'll have most weeknights f r e e (!) I'm going to be able to c o m m i t to dance classes and district meetings!! yay
